What is your application process?
You can book a place directly by clicking the Apply now on a course specific page. Our team will review the application to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria*. Once your place is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email along with your invoice or payment receipt. If any additional information is required, we will contact you directly.

How long does it take to process my registration form?
We aim to process your registration within one business week, but on occasions this may take longer. You will receive an email confirmation with your invoice or payment receipt.
Can I reserve a place on a course?
Please contact ccaf.edu@jbs.cam.ac.uk to reserve a place on a course and for further information.
What is the closing date for registration?
Registration closes at midday one working day before the course start date. Payment must be made in full before the start date.
What are your terms and conditions (including cancellation policy)?

Can I defer my place to a future cohort?
In exceptional cases, we allow deferrals. Please contact us with your circumstances, and we will review your request.
Do I need to be proficient in English to attend the courses? Unless specified, all our courses are taught in English and participants are required to be proficient in spoken and written English to attend. We do not provide translation facilities. Will I receive a certificate for attending the course? Provided participants meet all the course completion criteria, we issue a digital certificate of completion. The certificate provides several benefits, including built-in social sharing tools that allow you to celebrate your achievement with your network (e.g. on LinkedIn).
What are the completion criteria?
Complete at least 75% of the VLE activities, which include reading materials, quizzes, knowledge checks, forum discussions, assignments, reflections, case studies, etc and
Submit Capstone project proposal.
Deadlines for completing all activities are provided on the VLE.
We also encourage participants to:
Present the Capstone proposal to fellow participants and to their institution as well.
Actively attend and contribute to live session discussions and share reflections with the rest of the group as this leads to a rich learning experience.
What types of payment are accepted?
We accept the following methods of payment: wire transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) and debit card (Switch, Visa, Maestro/Solo).
Can I make an international payment?
Yes – If accepted on a course, your invoice will contain details for an international bank payment.
What if my institution requires an invoice before payment?
Yes, we can issue pro-forma invoices. Please email us with your institution's details.
Are bursaries available?
Financial assistance may be available for participants from emerging and developing economies. Discounted rates are also offered to organisations sponsoring more than five participants. Contact us to find out more.
What is VAT, and can it be claimed back?
VAT is a UK government value-added tax of 20% levied on services supplied in the UK. Visit the HM Revenue & Customs website to find out more.
Only a UK based organisation or an individual anywhere in the world, standard VAT 20% will apply. They may be able to claim back if registered for VAT with the Tax office. Please consult with your tax advisor.
What if a course is cancelled? In the unlikely event we are unable to run a course, we will inform you immediately in writing and offer a transfer to a later cohort or a full refund.
What technology will I need to participate?

Please ensure your technology meets the course requirements, as we cannot accept responsibility for access issues caused by unsuitable equipment or software.
What if I have accessibility requirements?
We are committed to ensuring all participants can access our courses. Please let us know in advance of any accessibility needs so we can make appropriate accommodations.
Are there assignments to be completed outside the live sessions? Yes. In addition to attending the live sessions, participants are required to engage with materials and activities on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Course details including VLE login instructions will be shared by email a day before the course begins.
To gain the Certificate of Completion please refer to the completion criteria outlined above.
What are the typical timings for Live Sessions? Most Live Sessions run for 1.5 hours. Some sessions may be longer or shorter to ensure a clear and coherent learning journey. Each course has its own agenda and all times are UK time zone.
Live sessions will be run using Zoom or Teams and we will provide you with links to access each session. You are expected to keep your camera on during live sessions to help create an engaged virtual classroom environment. A microphone is also required to participate in discussions, breakout sessions, or mentor meetings, where applicable.
Are Live Online sessions recorded?
The live sessions are recorded and links will be shared on the VLE.
Are Live session transcripts available?
Although we cannot provide a full transcript of live sessions, live captions can be enabled during our Live Online sessions. These can support participants who are non-native speakers of English or hard of hearing to follow the sessions.
What if I am not available to attend all the sessions and discussions? Active participation in live sessions greatly enhances the learning experience by fostering an environment where ideas can develop and evolve. If you anticipate any availability issues, please let us know. All sessions are recorded, and the recordings will be made available to you.
